We are glad that you have found us here at The Hidden Treasure Shop! We offer unique items from local artists and around the world at affordable prices. We pride ourselves in offering you good ole fashioned customer service too because without you, we would cease to exist. We hope that you come to visit and enjoy your stay in our little Delta town of Walnut Grove.
We started our business as a concept in Guam. We had vacationed in Bali and found, through ebay, that there was a market for imported items in the US. When we found that someone was auctioning off an old building here in Walnut Grove we came from Guam on Spring Break and discovered this wonderful Delta oasis. We found old fashioned place where we could have a business in the front and live in the back which suited our business plan and living style. We found just the right place, rehabbed it, and opened shop. We stayed at our original location for a couple of years and then were able to move to our current location which used to be an old baitshop. (We even have the original bait sign and walk-in fridge to prove it!)
Since then, we brought back items from Bali, have found treasures from other exotic places and are proud to have the following featured artists.
Kathleen Stevans who handpaints gorgeous Delta scenes & mermaids,
Nancy Tillisch who crafts fabulous, original jewels,
Patrice Campana who creates whimisical art, and
Jen Young who creates adorable handcrafted greeting cards.
